Malaysian Airlines, the national airline of Malaysia, is resuming flights to the European Union after almost a decade.
After the airline stopped all connections to the EU about ten years ago, there is now good news: From March 2025, the Kuala Lumpur – Paris Charles de Gaulle route will be reinstated in the route network. The route will be served four times a week with highly modern Airbus A350s.
Malaysian Airlines is closely monitoring the European market and plans to add more connections to Europe. The new route is also ideal for travelers to Australia or New Zealand who want to transfer in Kuala Lumpur.
The airline's withdrawal from the European market about ten years ago - with the exception of the London route - was due to financial difficulties. These were caused, among other things, by the tragedies surrounding the shooting down of flight MH17 by pro-Russian separatists over Ukraine and the mysterious disappearance of flight MH370, which remains one of the greatest mysteries in aviation history to this day.
