Croatia's landmark disappeared

The Golden Horn, Croatia's most famous landmark has disappeared

Croatia’s most famous landmark, the Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn) beach on the island of Brač, was almost completely eroded by Cyclone Boris.

As several Croatian media outlets, including morski.hr , report, the powerful cyclone currently raging in the Adriatic Sea has caused significant damage to the famous Zlatni Rat beach on the island of Brač. The “Golden Horn” is known for changing its shape and orientation depending on the waves.

However, the fact that the entire beach could disappear has never happened before. Whether the beach will recover to its full glory remains uncertain. This event is attributed to the effects of climate change.
