Austrian Airlines has announced new travel destinations for the upcoming 2025 summer flight schedule, focusing on the cooler north.
Direct connections to Edinburgh (Scotland), Sylt (Germany) and the Lofoten Islands (Norway) will be available from Vienna. As Austrian announced in a press release, a new warm summer destination will be Burgas on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.
Those who want to travel further afield can choose from 18 existing long-haul destinations that Austrian Airlines flies directly to: in Africa there is continuous Cairo, seasonally Mauritius and Marrakesh; in Asia there is continuous Bangkok, Tokyo, Shanghai and seasonally also Malé; in North America there is continuous Boston, New York (Newark and John F. Kennedy ), Washington, Chicago, Los Angeles and Montreal in Canada.
On the Mediterranean , the plan includes around 19 destinations in Greece, twelve destinations in Italy (mainland, islands), ten in Spain (mainland, Canary Islands and Balearic Islands) and four in Croatia.
